Basketball Homecoming against Oklahoma Union is Friday January 31st. To kick it off, we will have "Home Sweet Homecoming" dress up days January 27th- 31st. Starting Monday off with "Rolo"-ver & get out of bed/wear pajamas!

Reminder: No School on Monday, January 20th, for Chelsea Public Schools
There are two upcoming FREE healthcare events for immunizations and dental care. The caring van will be at CMS on March 14th for any student needing updated immunizations. If you would like your middle school student to receive their immunization while the caring van is here, please have your student pick up a form from the middle school office. The form is attached if you are able to print it from home as well. There is also a free dental care event February 7th & 8th. See the attached flyers for more information.

The archery tournament for middle school students scheduled for Friday, January 10th has been canceled.
ATTENTION BASKETBALL FANS!! The 4th Annual JMH Memorial Tournament has been modified due to the winter weather advisory. Thursday morning games will be played at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM as scheduled. All Thursday, Jan 9 afternoon and evening games have been postponed to Friday, Jan 10 at their regularly scheduled times. Second round games will be bumped to their regularly scheduled times on Sat, Jan 11. The final round will be played on Monday, Jan 13. The Championship rounds will be regularly scheduled and the Consolation games are TBD. Stay tuned to our website, www.chelseadragons.net, for updated brackets and tune in to our YouTube channel for the livestream of each game if you cannot make it in person.
Tomorrow, Thursday, January 9th all middle school students and staff will be attending the JMH Basketball Tournament to cheer on our high school Dragons and Lady Dragons. We will head to the gym at 10:00am. Students will have a sack lunch from the cafeteria tomorrow to eat during the games. Concessions will be open and students are welcome to bring money. We will return to class after the games. Reminder: we will be virtual on Friday, January 10th. Teachers have passed out assignments for Friday and have posted the assignment in Google Classroom as well. Many students have already completed the virtual work. Students are welcome to turn the assignment in early. Virtual work is due on Monday, January 13th. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Wilson at 789-2521.

Exciting News! Kindergarten Library Adventures Begin! Starting this Friday, January 17th, our Kindergarteners will embark on a special adventure! Every Friday at 9:00 AM, we'll be taking a bus to Art Goad’s Library. These 45-minute visits will be a fantastic opportunity for our young learners to:
Discover the Magic of Libraries: Learn how to check out books, explore the shelves, and find exciting stories.
Get to Know Their Future School: Familiarize themselves with the Art Goad Library and the school they'll be attending next year. One member of the First Grade staff will join us each week sharing a favorite book. By the end of the year, students will be familiar with their new school and new teachers.
Enhance Classroom Learning: These visits will complement our classroom learning and foster a lifelong love of reading as well as lessen their worries about their new school. We're thrilled to offer this enriching experience to our Kindergarteners! Get ready for some exciting library adventures!
