Just to be prepared, here are our days for Red Ribbon Week!
Caught this during my classroom walkthrough—Mrs. J. Reed has set the bar high with Neat Pete’s desk! Leading by example, she’s showing students the value of organization and pride in their workspaces. It’s these little lessons that help shape our incredible future leaders!
This afternoon, CPS was notified of pursuit with local law enforcement heading towards Chelsea. Out of an abundance of caution, all sites went to a "Hold Tight" call. Hold Tight indicates a situation in which there is not an immediate threat to our students or staff safety. We held students inside at all sites as a precaution to the pursuit, as it was nearing town. We did not want students outside if the pursuit neared any school site. The "Hold Tight" was lifted when we were notified by law enforcement the pursuit had ended and students went on with their regular school schedule. Student and staff safety is a priority of Chelsea Public Schools.
Checkout our Anatomy and Physiology class projects they've been working on! Great job on your cell models students! Way to go Mrs. B with incorporating hands on activities to make learning fun!
