CHS/CMS was in "hold tight" today for a student medical emergency. "Hold Tight" is done as a precautionary measure and there is no threat to student safety. This is done to protect all students/staff and the integrity of the student having the medical emergency. We are thankful to have such great medical people in our community that respond quickly when these events take place. CHS/CMS is back to normal protocols.
First Grade field trip was a success! The students had an incredible time, and the teachers came back exhausted. That is how we determine success! ; ) Here are a few I have received so far. If you have pictures of pumpkin patches, you can send them to kmorgan@chelseadragons.net
The annual Band fundraiser starts today. If you have a student in band, they will be brining home a box of World's Finest Chocolate to sell. Mr. Paul has sent out more information about this fundraiser. If you have any questions, you may email Mr. Paul at gpaul@chelseadragons.net or by calling him at 789-5168.

Scavenger Hunt launches tomorrow. There are ten locations who reached out to us and want to participate. The idea is that families spend some quality time together in our community. Art Goad will be your first location. If you have any issues, please message Mrs. Morgan. I did several practice runs and everything was working. Scan the QR code and get your detective skills ready! If you need a hint, zoom in close for the address.
There is one location that is doing a drawing for something pretty cool! There's an option to click the link and fill out a form to be entered in. If that doesn't work please email kmorgan@chelseadragons.net to be entered. You must say what the drawing is for so I know you have been hunting!
Have fun, take pics, and share. Scavenger hunt will end October 25th.
Tomorrow, middle school students will have the option to go watch the high school powder puff football game in the afternoon or stay inside to watch a movie. There will be a concession stand open at the game. Students going to the game may bring a blanket for outside. Be sure to bring a jacket or coat! It's going to be chilly tomorrow.
Students in A&P class had to diagram all the systems in the body. What a cool project and extremely creative way to learn!!!
Congratulations to our Academic Bowl Team! They are District Champions!!!! Great job!!
Get ready for our Community Scavenger Hunt, launching this Thursday! We've partnered with several local businesses and organizations to create a fun activity for families. Explore our community together as you follow clues from location to location, each revealed through a QR code. Need a little extra help? Don't worry, hints are available! The best part? You can start the hunt at any point along the route, and the clues will guide you right back to the starting spot. We can't wait to hear all about your adventures! Below is a sample of the QR codes you will find. This particular code takes you to our Chelsea Public School's website.
Thank you, Art Goad teachers, for letting me use you as models!
Congratulations to the CMS Dragon football team on an outstanding season and their 26-6 win for their final game of the year this evening against OKU. A big congratulations to this group of 8th grade leaders! Way to close out your final middle school game boys. We are proud of each of you!
