With the forecasted weather next week, students are being sent home virtual work packets to complete IF we need to switch to virtual learning. The work being sent home today will be for Tuesday, February 18th and Wednesday, February 19th in the event we switch to virtual learning. Students do not need to complete the work unless we are virtual. There is no school on Monday, February 17th, as it is Presidents Day.
If you have a student who is currently out sick and would like to pick up work, including the virtual work for next week, please call the middle school office BEFORE 2:00pm today and we will gather work for pick up.
Chelsea Public Schools will be in session on Thur, Feb 13, 2025. Due to some hazardous roads, please note some minor changes to bus routes. Bus 7 & 5 will not run north of 290 rd. Bus 3 will not run on 4390 rd. All other routes will run as normal. It will be COLD so please bundle up your kiddos! See you at school!

It's a great day to be a Dragon!! Congratulations to Avery Lawhorn, Jake England, and Wyatt Hamilton on signing letters of intent to continue their athletic careers. Avery signed to run track at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. Go Lions!! Jake and Wyatt signed to play football at Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK. Go Aggies!! We are extremely proud of all three of you!!
CHS and CMS will be hosting parent/teacher conferences on Thursday February 20th from 3:30-9:30. We are looking for an organization, church, or business that would be interested in providing a meal for the staff. Details about the band fundraiser
Dear Band Parents,
The Band Parent Booster Club will be having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday February 22nd from 11am to 2pm. Admission to the dinner will be $10 dollars this includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and a drink. This event will be 100% profit. High School band students 7th -12th grade will need to attend this event, to help greet the community, bus tables, and to play music. Proceeds from this event will help fund band trips, band uniforms, and band instruments. If there is food remaining after the event , then band students will eat for free.
Parents, we desperately need help to put on this event, if you are able and want to help, please reach out to Amy Rice (918) 557-3634. If you would like to be a member of the booster club, we meet once a month in the band room. The upcoming meeting is Thursday February 6th @6:30pm. We appreciate your help to support our kids and the band program.
The high school band 7th - 12th grade students will also have a band social February 7th from 5pm to 8:30 at the band room students are encouraged to bring chips, pop, or any food item. Video games or board games. This is a night to have fun and allow the students to be social.

We are gathering information on past graduates who were members of our armed forces or are currently serving. UPDATE TO MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL SCHEDULED FOR 1/30/2025:
No 6th grade girls game.
6th grade boys will play at 5:00 in the practice gym, followed by 7th boys, 8th boys. There will be no 9th grade or JV boys games.
7th grade girls will play at 5:00 in the main gym, followed by 8th girls and JV girls.

The middle school basketball games at Sequoyah will begin at 4:30pm is evening. The girls will play in the main gym and boys in the practice gym. 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade will be playing. 8th and 9th grade girls will be combined for one game.
