Chelsea Board of Education and our community stakeholders have been diligently working to develop the Green Dragon Investment and Bond Strategy. At the end of the month the school board will take action on a school bond plan that will be voted on in April of 2023. To finalize our plan, we need your valuable input! The Dragon Family is excited to welcome Kevin Gorham as our School Resource Officer! We have partnered with Rogers County Sherriff and look forward to having Kevin on campus.
Mrs. Harris and her 8th grade science classes used their creativity to build ping pong ball launchers this week. Student’s designed, tested and tweaked their launchers for a competition in class today, to see who could get the most ping pong balls in the target! What a fun way to finish up the semester.

Chelsea Public Schools would like to thank all Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice for our country. The Green Dragons are proud of our faculty and community members that have answered the call to service. Longfellow ELC will have their Veterans Day Program at 9:00 AM. Art Goad Elementary will participate in the community Veterans Day parade at 10:30 AM. Chelsea High School and Middle School will have their Veterans Day assembly directly following the parade in the Dale Wilson Memorial Gymnasium. There will be a meal directly following for all Veterans after the assembly.
Reminder: Veterans Day Program begins at 11:00am tomorrow. Students who have speaking rolls in the program, please dress nice for the occasion. We want to encourage all students to wear red, white and blue tomorrow to help us honor our veterans and current military men and women.

ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS & FOOTBALL FANS!! This weeks varsity football game vs OKU has been moved to Thursday, Nov 3 at 7:00. Senior recognition will begin at 6:30pm. We will also be honoring all veterans and active-duty military service members with free admission. Route 66 Insurance is sponsoring our student section. Any student that brings canned food donations will receive free admission as well. We hope to see everyone there!! GO DRAGONS!!

Friday is fall sports Senior night! Route 66 Insurance Agency sponsoring the students again with giveaways throughout the evening but there's a catch! "Students will get in for free WITH A DONATION TO THE SCHOOLS FOOD PANTRY by bringing a NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM in exchange for a ticket!"
