Chancie Jinkens was chosen as one of the Oklahoma FFA WLC Scholarship recipients!!! What an amazing trip she will get to be apart of. The Washington Leadership Conference provides a premier leadership experience for FFA members in the nation's capital each summer.

HS powerlifters competed at Afton today and did great. Awesome job guys!
A sea of blue for FFA Day at the capital. Over 500 blue jackets from across the state showed up to meet our Governor and representatives. The Chapter toured Express Ranch in Yukon ok. The students got to see the horse part and the cattle part of their ranch. To wrap the day up we watched the OSU Cowgirl Basketball Team play for a big WIN!
On Wednesday, February 22 Chelsea High school Stu-Co members went to Skiatook High School for our Spring District Leadership Workshop. In addition to the high school members we invited seven middle school students to attend alongside us. Chelsea is a member of District 6 which includes 22 school districts across the area. Chelsea is now the President school for District 6 and Jaclyn Draeger is President. Way to Lead Chelsea!!!
Chelsea 7-9th grade students competed at the Afton powerlifting meet today. Our Freshman team was runners up Great job!

Chelsea Public Schools will be in session on Monday, February 20 as a make up day for one of the days missed during the winter storm. Details on the the remaining make up days are being determined.

Creativity was our January theme for our Dragon Days Assembly and do we ever have some fabulously creative students!!! Great job!

Reminder: We love for you to send items to your sweethearts on Valentine's Day, but students are not allowed to bring balloons or glassware on the bus. If a student receives these items and rides a bus they will need to be picked up.
Senior night for basketball players and cheerleaders will start at 6:00 pm 2/10 for our game vs Caney Valley. All senior parents please arrive by 5:45.
Thursday and Friday Mattie Morgan showed two pigs at the Oklahoma Bred Swine Exposition in Tulsa. She was the only one from Chelsea who attended this show. She placed very well with the hog in the picture.
Saturday Mattie, Alexis Chambers, and Tylee Howard showed in Claremore at the Rogers County Spring Livestock Show. Alexis and Mattie showed their hogs. Tylee showed a goat.
Our next big livestock show is the Oklahoma Youth Expo in March in Oklahoma City.
