Chelsea Hosted the first ever Archery and Trap Shooting contest at our school this past weekend.
Over 150 kids and coaches came to participate in the events.
We had 70 students, in the county, participate in the Indoor Archery Contest. Chelsea students took the top 5 places in all 3 divisions. Also, we had students place outside for outdoor archery as well. If you were there it was amazing to see an event that we have been working towards for two years getting kicked off.
Also, on Saturday we hosted the first Sporting Clay and Trap Contest at Chelsea. 60 kids participated in the event from 4 different programs within the county. I only see this growing even larger next year. Chelsea took 9 of the 20 placings in both areas. The kids shot well and the turn out to watch the students shoot was phenomenal. Thank you for the support that was given to make this 5-year project a reality.
The County Fair kickoff for livestock and other projects is Tuesday afternoon and our students will be showing Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Hope we have just as much success with our Livestock and other projects this week.

CHS is dedicated to student/staff safety so we will be implementing the following protocols: Parents who wish to pick up their student must come into the office and sign their student out. We will no longer exercise the practice of sending the student out to the parking lot. The HS doors will also be locked from 8:05-3:15. If you need access to the HS you will need to contact the office at 918-789-2533. Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe.
